On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and enter your email address. We’ll send you a link to set a new one. If you signed up with Apple or Google, sign in with that button instead — there is no separate password.

In the app, go to Account and tap “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account, the boats you own and everything in them. Crew you invited lose access to those boats. It can’t be undone. You can also do it on the web, signed in at myboatnotes.com — myboatnotes.com/delete-account has every way to do it and what is kept afterwards.

Every boat has its own email address. In the app, tap + and choose “Email attachments” to copy it. Forward invoices, photos or documents to that address and they’re filed automatically. Include a short note about it in the email — attachments sent without one may not be filed. Only mail sent from the address of the boat’s owner or one of its crew with Full access or Editor permission is accepted.

In the app, go to Account and tap “Invite someone aboard” under People. Choose what they can do: Full access, Editor (add and delete records) or Read only. They’ll get an email invitation.

Your records are processed by AI services to answer your questions, and never used to train AI models. The app asks your permission before anything is processed. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what goes where.
